這句"how has she died for us, let me count the ways"，小小的借用修改了英國浪漫期間詩人Elizabeth Barrett Browning的原作翻譯這首十四行詩是她的有名代表作品之一，出自詩集《Sonnets from the Portuguese》。原作沒有標題，是該詩集的第四十三號作品。原文如下：

Elizabeth Barrett Browning寫出這首詩時正是受到Robert Browning的強烈熱鬧追求（兩人的愛情故事一向是文壇美談），在詩裡Elizabeth Barrett Browning描述她是如何深愛情人、具體描述她的竭誠感情。此詩的第一行"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways"（我如何愛汝？且讓我娓娓細數道來）相當有名，也常被廣泛改寫應用。

個中一集描寫産生在可駭片拍片現場的殺人事宜，傍邊很多台詞和場景不單隱含可駭片的元素，也向很多可駭片的經典致敬翻譯若能辨識出這些編劇的苦心放置，不僅不感覺劇情恐怖，反能從中領略猶如尋寶的樂趣翻譯

當電影製作人率領警官Brass和鑑識人員到拍片現場找尋當家旦角的失蹤線索時，他說："Ah 翻譯社 Weatherly ... how has she died for us翻譯社 let me count the ways."（「啊，薇樂莉...她怎麼替鉦昱翻譯公司們死的，讓我說給翻譯公司們聽。」）此時觀眾跟著鏡頭移動看到這位旦角的很多作品海報，而製作人接著對捕快胪陳旦角在每齣戲裡的分歧死法。

本來十九世紀的情詩到了CSI，搖身一變，成了製作人嘴裡用來講明當家旦角的在戲裡分歧死法的開場白。不外，替片子公司賺進大把鈔票的女演員可是製作人面前的大紅人，如許的錢樹子固然是製作人的親愛瑰寶。編劇借用了詩人的情話，玩了文字趣味，也藉此顯示失蹤的旦角在製作人心中的地位。
